The authors studied on the relation between washing power and r.p.m. of a washing machine when the standard artificially stained cotton cloth was washed applying a super jet-current-type washing machine. And simultaneously they measured out the ratio between r.p.m. and contraction of muslin when washed with the machine, and obtained the following result. When washed at 600 r.p.m. the maximum washing effect was resulted, while even at 400 r.p.m. reasenably good effect was observed. As to the relation of the wash and washing power, it was revealed that the less the wash was, the more effective was the washing power. As to the shaking within the machine, it was found considerably great when the machine was run at 400 r.p.m. and -600 r.p.m. As to the relation of r.p.m. and contraction, it was observed that the higher the speed became, the contraction increased the more greatly. |
