| 内容記述 | In this paper, the survey on female college students who are sensitive to fashion was conducted with regard to the recognition and image of the colors, color preference, color preferred for wearing on the basic colors and the common colors. The results are as follows : (1) The color names that Japanese subjects used coincided between the subjects and the almost of all color names were classified into the basic color name, however the color names that Mexican subjects used were various. (2) The colors that more than 80% of Japanese subjects answered were the names as prescribed by JIS and these were red, yellow, green yellow, green, blue, white, and black. (3) Although most of all Japanese subjects were reminded of something concrete with all colors, Mexican subjects were reminded of something abstract with some colors. (4) Although the correlation coefficient between the preferred colors and the color preferred for clothing was low score in Japanese subjects, it was high score in Mexican subjects. Black color was preferred for formal clothing by both Japanese and Mexican subjects. | |||||
