Separation of the nucleotides in "ribotide" (one of 5'-ribonucleotide seasonings) was attempted by ion exchange chromatography using Cl-form resin. Three main peaks in chromatogram were identified as CMP, GMP, and IMP, respectively. Inorganic phospgate, CMP, GMP, and IMP, were separated successfully without overlapping one another in their eluted positions in chromatogram. The contents of GMPNa_2 and IMPNa_2 in "ribotide" were 31% and 39%, respectively. |
