The following are the chief results : - 1. As for the average values of the men's six itemes of height such as stature etc., they tend to decrease gradually as they grow old; and their average stature in their early fifties is about 96% of that in their twenties. 2. As for their average values of trunk girths such as bust, waist and hip girths, they are smallest in their early twenties, but they suddenly increase in their latter twenties. In their thirties the values of bust and hip girths remain almost on the same level, but their waist girth shows gradual increase as they grow old, which we suppose indicates that their trunk becomes gradually thickset in form. 3.
