The new law on food and nutrition educator started in 2005, in Japan. In 2007, Kagoshima, 144 dietitians have become the food and nutrition educators, and the converted ratio is the highest in Japan. In a few years all of dietitians will become the food and nutrition educators. Diet education law was also established in 2005, and the Enhancing program of food and nutrition education from 2006 to 2010 was constructed.
