This research aims to discuss about food and nutrition education and its classes by food and nutrition educators in Kagoshima Prefecture. The results are as follows; (1) There are 163 food and nutrition educators in Kagoshima Prefecture, 2008. It is the advantage to develop food and nutrition education and its classes. (2) The organized school systems are not enough to coordinate food and nutrition education and its classes in Kagoshima Prefecture. (3) In some materials and textbooks for food and nutrition education, most class practice models are in the traditional style plans. It is necessary to collect and analyze teaching practices to improve those methodology.
