However that may be, traditional dietary habits have been remaining there still now. On the other hand, raising the standard of living has brought the change of their dietary habits and of their intake of foods to the "new" middle classes of Bandung city. Such being the case, we made investigation into the dietary habits in Bandung city as a urban area of West Java. The results were as follows : 1) 83% of solvers answered that they like hot foods very well. Chickens and bean products are widely used for intake of protein.
